Cookies and tracking

These are written on woopf.com by our own code, by Shopify, and by the apps and services named in the next table; each row names its writer under its type. They are grouped by category. The Required ones are always on and have no switch. Every other entry is written only while its category is on, except where its row says otherwise.

Each row's lifetime is the one its writer sets or, for an entry with no set lifetime, how long your browser keeps it, such as until you close the tab. Your browser may also end a cookie sooner: Chrome, for one, keeps none for longer than 400 days.

These companies' code runs in your browser on woopf.com, or your browser fetches files from them for it. Each one is in the category named beside it. A Required service has no switch. Every other service loads only while its category is on, except where its row says otherwise; what Google's tags do with your choice is described under the table.

Google's tags reach woopf.com in three ways. The Google & YouTube app's pixel loads Google's tag and passes your choice on: with every category off it sends nothing; with Marketing on and Analytics off, Google Analytics sets no cookies but still receives your page views; with Analytics on and Marketing off, it sends Google Analytics, Google Ads and Merchant Center hits, telling Google that advertising storage is denied. Our Google Tag Manager container, which also holds a Google Ads tag, loads only while Analytics is on, and its Google Ads tag then runs even when Marketing is off. The Simprosys app adds a Google Ads tag of its own, which currently sends page views and remarketing hits to Google whatever you choose, without passing your choice on.

Services may also set cookies on their own domains, which this page does not list; each company's privacy policy is linked in the table. The cookies Lucky Orange sets are listed in the next section.

Lucky Orange records how the pages of woopf.com are used, as session recordings and heatmaps of things such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages you view. Its code loads whatever you choose, but it records only while both Analytics and Marketing are on. While both are on, Shopify also tells Lucky Orange's pixel when you fill in forms or copy or paste, sends it your shopping and checkout events, and lets it read your name, email address, phone number and other personal data where Shopify has them. What it records is sent to Lucky Orange's own servers; its privacy policy, linked in the table above, says how Lucky Orange handles the data.

It sets the two cookies below on woopf.com, and its browser storage entries are listed with the others in the tables of cookies and storage above. Lucky Orange says it uses no third-party cookies, so it sets none on its own domains. The names, purposes and lifetimes come from Lucky Orange's own documentation.
