Before I became a veterinarian, I was already working in pet food while studying veterinary science. Since then, I've built my clinical career across general practice and emergency care, seeing how dogs really move, chew, rest and live with their families.

WOOPF™ is a 100% vet-owned dog brand founded by Dr Duncan Houston, BVSc, who brings 20 years across pet food and pet products and 10 years in veterinary practice, including emergency care. The range starts with practical needs seen in real dog life.
Why do some WOOPF™ products cost more than pet-store alternatives?+
WOOPF™ is not trying to be the cheapest item in the aisle. Each product is selected or designed around a specific need, with its construction, options and guidance explained so you can compare before ordering.
Are any dog toys indestructible?+
No dog toy is indestructible. Choose a size and strength that suit your dog, supervise initial and vigorous play, and inspect the toy regularly. Remove it if it splits, sheds pieces, develops sharp edges or becomes small enough to swallow.
Which WOOPF™ toy should I choose for a power chewer?+
Start with the Play & Enrichment collection and choose a size and strength suited to your dog. Supervise play, inspect toys often and replace anything damaged.
What is a dog enrichment toy?+
A dog enrichment toy encourages activities such as sniffing, foraging, licking, chewing or problem-solving. Begin with an easy challenge, supervise use and include food used in your dog's normal daily allowance.
How do I use a dog snuffle mat safely?+
Start with food scattered on top, then hide it more deeply as your dog understands the game. Supervise, put the mat away when the food is gone and follow its care instructions. A snuffle mat is a foraging tool, not a chew toy.
Will a no-pull harness stop my dog pulling?+
A no-pull harness can assist with control and training, but it does not teach loose-leash walking by itself. Correct fit, gradual introduction and consistent reward-based training remain important.
How do I choose the right dog harness size?+
Measure your dog and use the size guide on the product page before ordering. If your dog falls between sizes, contact the WOOPF™ team with their breed, weight and measurements.
What bed features should I compare for a dog with arthritis, hip dysplasia or reduced mobility?+
Compare entry height, base stability, usable sleeping area, stated foam construction and cover care. Those features may affect access or everyday use, but a bed does not diagnose or treat arthritis, hip dysplasia or pain. Ask your veterinarian about individual needs.
Can WOOPF™ products treat arthritis, anxiety or other illnesses?+
No. WOOPF™ products are everyday pet products rather than medical devices or treatments. They may support parts of a daily routine around rest, enrichment, walking, identification or meal pacing. Diagnosis and treatment need an individual veterinary care plan.
Which products may suit a dog recovering from surgery or on restricted activity?+
Only choose products that fit the activity and rehabilitation plan set by your veterinarian. A stable, accessible rest space or lower-intensity supervised enrichment may support the daily routine for some dogs, but neither replaces treatment or professional rehabilitation advice.
Are WOOPF™ products suitable for puppies, adult dogs and seniors?+
The WOOPF™ range includes options across every life stage, but not every product is right for every dog. Compare size, intended use, materials and supervision guidance, then choose around your dog's age, body, behaviour and health.
How do the WOOPF™ Smart ID Tag and GPS & Health Tracker work with the ASK A VET™ app?+
