How it works
Why the pairing, what you save, and what the kit is not

Two rolls in the front, treats in the back: the pouch that ends the pocket problem
The Explorer Dual Pocket Pouch is a small water-resistant box, 11 x 6 x 7 cm, with two zipped pockets.
- Two rolls, one at a timeThe front takes two rolls of 15 bags and feeds them one at a time through a rubber outlet, so the roll never unravels in the bottom of a pocket.
- Treats in the back, kept apartThe back takes treats, keys, cash and a standard credit card, and the two never meet.
- Swivel clip or Velcro loopsThe pouch clips to the lead handle with a rustproof swivel clip or straps on with the elastic Velcro loops.
- Bag hook, wipe-clean fabricA side hook holds a tied bag until the next bin, and the fabric wipes clean with a damp cloth.

150 certified compostable bags: the refill that fits the pouch and the certificates that mean it
The ten rolls are Poop & Go 100% Compostable Bags: 15 bags a roll on a cardboard core that drops into the pouch and any standard dispenser.
- Thick enough for a Great DaneEach bag is 23 x 33 cm and 25 microns thick, which is thick enough for a Great Dane and generous for a Chihuahua.
- Corn starch, cardboard boxThe bags are made from GMO-free corn starch and plant-based film, no polyethylene. The box is cardboard with soy-based ink.
- Certified in Australia, EU and USAThe bags carry the certificates: AS 5810 home compostable and AS 4736 industrially compostable in Australia, EN 13432 in the EU, ASTM D6400 in the USA, and BPI.
- About two months for one dogA bag a walk, three walks a day, is about two months for one dog, a month for two.

The maths, and what the kit is not
One price for the two, under buying them apart. Three things the kit is not.
- Not a colour choiceThe pouch in the kit is Green, and a Red or Grey pouch means buying the two apart at full price.
- Not the cheapest bagPer bag, the 450 pack sold alone is cheaper, so buy the kit for the pouch and the first two months, then refill with the 450.
- For every walk of the yearThe kit is not a St Patrick's Day product any more, whatever the web address and the tab say. The green is the Explorer green, and the kit is for every walk of the year.
Size guide
What is in the No-Mess Walk Kit
Three kit rules
-
One kit, one size. The pouch is 11 x 6 x 7 cm outside and holds two rolls of 15 in the front pocket and a standard credit card, treats and keys in the back; it clips to any lead handle, belt loop or bag strap. The bags are 23 x 33 cm, one size for every dog from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane, on standard rolls that fit the pouch and any other standard dispenser.
-
How long it lasts: a bag a walk, three walks a day, is about two months for one dog, a month for two dogs, and longer for a dog walked once a day. The pouch stays; the refill is the Poop & Go 100% Compostable Bags in the 450 pack, which is the best price per bag.
-
Who it is for: a new puppy household setting up, a dog that is being trained on walks (treats and bags in one clip, hands free for the lead), and anyone whose jacket pocket currently holds a loose roll, a handful of treats and a set of keys. A household that already has a pouch wants the bags alone; a household that wants a different colour pouch buys the two apart.

- Price and saving
- One price for the two, under buying them apart
- How long it lasts
- About two months for one dog at a bag a walk, three walks a day; about a month for two dogs. Then the pouch stays and the 450 pack refills it
- Care
- Pouch: wipe out with a damp cloth and mild soap, rinse the outlet if a bag tears, air dry open; not for the washing machine. Bags: store the box cool and dry, use within a year of purchase
- Disposal
- Home compost only in a dedicated pet-waste composter or worm farm that never feeds food crops; council green bin only where your council accepts pet waste; otherwise general waste. A compostable bag makes the disposal cleaner, not the contents safe
- The other kits and refills
- The Poop & Go 50% Recycled Bags are the non-compostable refill in the same 150 count; Paddy's Garden Bundle is the bigger walk kit with the harness, the bungee lead, this pouch and the Smart ID Tag; the Explorer Bungee Leash is the lead the pouch clips to

How to
How to set it up and use it

Clip the pouch to the lead handle
Swivel clip through the handle loop, or the Velcro straps round the handle or a belt. Outlet facing out, zips up.

Load two rolls and thread the first bag
Both rolls in the front pocket, the loose end of one roll through the rubber outlet, zip closed. Pull one bag; the perforation tears at the outlet and the next bag waits.

Treats in the back, keys with them
A handful of small training treats in the back pocket, the card and the keys behind them. Count the treats into the day's food: ten small treats is a meal for a small dog.

Bag it, tie it, hook it, bin it
Hand in the bag, pick up, invert, tie. The tied bag goes on the side hook until the next bin, not back in the pocket with the treats. Every time, every walk: roundworm eggs in a lawn stay infective for years.

Reorder before the last roll
When the box is down to two rolls, order the 450 pack of Poop & Go 100% Compostable Bags: the best price per bag, and three rolls always live in the pouch and the car.
Vet noteDr Duncan Houston, emergency veterinarian
What comes out tells you what is going on inside, and the walk is where you see it. Loose stool for more than two days, blood, mucus that keeps coming, or straining with nothing produced is a vet visit, not a wait-and-see, and worms you can see in the bag mean the whole household gets checked. Pick up every time: roundworm and hookworm eggs shed in a lawn or a sandpit stay infective for years and children pick them up first. Dog waste never goes into a compost that feeds food crops, whatever the bag is made of; a certified compostable bag makes the disposal cleaner, it does not make the contents safe, so home composting means a dedicated pet-waste composter or worm farm, and the council green bin only where your council says yes. Keep the bags and the box away from puppies and children: a film bag is a suffocation and a swallowing risk whatever it is made from, and a dog that has eaten a bag and is vomiting, off its food or not passing stools needs a vet the same day. Treats in the pouch count: a pocketful of training treats is a meal for a small dog, so take them out of the day's food and keep them small. And wash your hands: the pouch is water-resistant and wipe-clean, and it is still the thing you handle between the bag and the treats.

Why I put these two together
The two things every walk needs and every pocket hates.
Every walk needs bags and, if you are training anything at all, treats, and a jacket pocket is the wrong place for both: the bags unroll, the treats crumble, the keys end up in the same pocket as a used bag. The pouch fixes that with two zipped pockets, two rolls behind a rubber outlet in the front and treats, keys and a card in the back, on a clip that goes on the lead handle, and the ten rolls are the bags that fit it, certified compostable and made from corn rather than polyethylene, 150 of them, which is about two months for one dog.
- Less than buying them apartBuying the two together costs less than buying them apart, and the pouch you keep.
- The honest linesThe kit comes in Green only; the pouch sold alone comes in eight colours, and if you want it to match a red harness you buy the two separately and pay the difference.
- The bags are the starter packThe bags are the starter pack; per bag, the 450 pack is cheaper, and it is the refill.
- Never a compost that feeds food cropsAnd a compostable bag makes the disposal cleaner; it does not make what is in it safe for a compost that feeds food crops, which is the one thing every dog owner with a veggie patch needs to hear from a vet.
- Tested at homeBridie and Kiko tested every version.

What is in the kit, and what do I save?
One Explorer Dual Pocket Pouch in Green and ten rolls of 15 Poop & Go 100% Compostable Bags, 150 bags, in their cardboard box. Buying the two together costs less than buying them apart, and the pouch you keep.
Can I choose the pouch colour?
Not in the kit: it comes in Green, the same green as the Explorer Harness, Collar and leads in Green. The Explorer Dual Pocket Pouch sold alone comes in eight colours, so if you want a Red or Grey pouch, buy the pouch and the Poop & Go 100% Compostable Bags separately and pay the difference. The bags are green either way.
How long do 150 bags last?
A bag a walk, three walks a day, is about two months for one dog and about a month for two. A dog walked once a day stretches it to five months. When the box is down to two rolls, the refill is the Poop & Go 100% Compostable Bags in the 450 pack, which is the best price per bag; the pouch is the part you keep.
Do the bags fit the pouch, and other dispensers?
Yes. The rolls are standard size on a cardboard core, 15 bags each; two sit in the pouch's front pocket, and they fit any standard bone-shaped or tube dispenser. Thread the loose end of one roll through the rubber outlet and it feeds one bag at a time; the perforation tears at the outlet and the next bag waits.
Are the bags really compostable, and where do I put them?
They are certified, which is the part that matters: AS 5810 home compostable and AS 4736 industrially compostable in Australia, EN 13432 in the EU, ASTM D6400 in the USA, and BPI, made from corn starch and plant-based film with no polyethylene. Where they go is the honest part. A compostable bag makes the disposal cleaner; it does not make dog waste safe for a compost that feeds food crops, ever. Home composting means a dedicated pet-waste composter or a worm farm that feeds ornamentals only; the council green bin only where your council accepts pet waste; otherwise general waste.
Does the pouch really hold treats and keys as well?
Yes, and that is the point of it. The back pocket is zipped and separate from the bags, and it fits a standard credit card, keys, cash and a handful of small training treats. The two pockets never meet, the side hook holds a tied bag until the next bin so it never goes back in with the treats, and the fabric wipes clean. Count the treats into the day's food: ten small treats is a meal for a small dog.
Is this a St Patrick's Day product?
It started as one, which is why the web address says what it says and the tab talks about St Paddy's. It is a year-round kit: the green is the Explorer green, the pouch and the bags are the same ones sold all year, and the saving does not expire. If you want the bigger walk kit, Paddy's Garden Bundle adds the Explorer Harness, the Explorer Bungee Leash and the Smart ID Tag around this pouch.
What if it arrives damaged, or a roll is missing?
Email hello@woopf.com as soon as you notice, with a photo and your order number, and it is covered: a torn box, a missing roll, a pouch with a stuck zip. Change of mind: considered within 14 days on unused items in their original packaging.
