How it works
Why two trackers, which plan, and what the kit is not
Two collars, one map: both dogs live, one fence, and the name of the one that crossed it
Each Smart GPS & Health Tracker has its own 4G connection and GPS receiver, so it reports from wherever the dog is, not from within range of your phone.
- Two dots, one fenceIn the Ask A Vet app the two sit on one map as two dots with two routes, the virtual fence you draw around home applies to both, and the escape alert names the dog that left.
- Accuracy depends on signalAccuracy depends on signal and surroundings: open ground is close to exact, dense streets and indoors widen the circle.
- Lost Pet ID on each collarEach collar carries a touchscreen with a QR and NFC Lost Pet ID linked to that dog's free profile.
- Any phone, no app to downloadA stranger taps or scans with any phone and sees your number, a backup contact and the medical notes, with no app to download.
One plan for both: the Premium plan for two pets costs less than two Tracker Plans
Live GPS, the fence, the activity and sleep trends and the year of location history run on a tracker subscription in the Ask A Vet app, one tracker per plan.
- Premium covers both trackersOn the plan page today the Premium plan for two pets costs less than two Tracker Plans and includes both tracker subscriptions, unlimited AI vet chat and two certified vet chats a month.
- Each dog against its own baselineThe health side is the same for each dog: steps, rest, sleep and ambient temperature trends against that dog's own baseline.
- Where a two-dog home gains mostThe quiet dog's off week stops hiding behind the busy dog's walks.
- Context, not a diagnosisThe data is context for a conversation with a vet, not a diagnosis, and the app has the vet on the same plan.
The maths, and what the kit is not
This kit costs what two trackers cost apart today. There is no saving at today's prices. Four things the kit is not.
- Not a discountIt is one order, two colours chosen in one place and the plan decision made once, and the saving is in running both on the Premium plan.
- Not four kitsThe live store lists "Black then White" and "White then Black" as two variants, and they are the same two trackers.
- Not a fence or a microchipA tracker tells you where they are, the gate and the recall keep them in, and the chip is the permanent identifier that works with no battery at the pound.
- Not for every catIt is not for a cat under about 4 kg or any cat on a non-breakaway collar; the battery-free Smart ID Tag is the right thing there.

Three rules: the colours, the fit and the plan
-
Pick the two colours: two Black / Gold, two White / Gold, or one of each, which is the pair for two dogs that look alike, because the collar tells them apart before the app does. The price is the same for every pair. The live store lists "Black then White" and "White then Black" as separate options; they are the same kit.
-
Each tracker suits a dog or cat from about 4 kg, on your own flat collar, threaded through the two silicone back straps with the screen facing out, snug enough not to swing and loose enough for two fingers under the collar. Cats must wear it on a breakaway collar. Below 4 kg the device is too much collar for the animal and the battery-free Smart ID Tag is the right thing.
-
Plans, from the plan page today: a Tracker Plan covers one tracker; the Premium plan for two pets includes both tracker subscriptions, unlimited AI vet chat and two certified vet chats a month. Two trackers belong on Premium. The Lost Pet ID on each screen and the app itself are free.
Specifications
- In the kit
- 2 x Smart GPS & Health Tracker in the colours chosen, each with 2 x silicone back straps, 1 x 1 m USB-C cable and the setup QR inside the lid. Collars are not included: each tracker mounts on your own flat collar
- Positioning
- Live GPS over 4G/LTE on each tracker, worldwide on the tracker subscription; both dogs on one map with the route. Accuracy varies with coverage and surroundings; indoors and in dense city streets expect a wider circle
- Virtual fence
- Custom safe zones with escape alerts that name the dog, as many zones as you like, applied to both trackers
- Screen and Lost Pet ID
- Colour TFT touchscreen on each tracker showing that dog's QR and NFC Lost Pet ID, alerts and daily stats; a finder taps or scans with any phone and sees the profile, no app for them
- Health and activity
- Per dog: steps, distance, calories, rest and sleep trends, bark detection and a home-alone mode, ambient temperature alerts for heat and cold risk (it does not measure body temperature). Informational, not a diagnosis
- Training cues and light
- Clicker, beep, whistle, recorded voice and vibration from the app, to each tracker separately; no static or shock function. Dual RGB LED strips, colour and mode set per tracker
- Water and battery
- IP67 on each tracker: 1 metre for 30 minutes, so swimming and rain are fine (the live tab says "IPX67", which is not a rating). Rechargeable by USB-C, up to 30 days depending on tracking frequency, LED use and signal
- Plan
- Two tracker subscriptions in the Ask A Vet app, one per tracker: two Tracker Plans, or the Premium plan for two pets, which includes both tracker subscriptions, unlimited AI vet chat and two certified vet chats a month
- Colours
- Black / Gold and White / Gold, in any pair: two black, two white, or one of each
- The other kits
- The Track & Scan Bundle is one tracker with a Smart ID Tag; the Two ID Tags Bundle is two battery-free tags for two dogs; the Smart ID Tag alone is the backup ID for each collar

How to
How to set up two trackers

Charge both first
USB-C, a cable in each box, to full before the first walk. The app warns you before either runs flat; most owners land on a charge every two to four weeks.

Two profiles, two trackers
In the Ask A Vet app, make a profile for each dog with a photo, two phone numbers and the medical notes, then scan the QR code inside each lid to pair that tracker to that dog. Name them in the app the way you shout them in the park.

Choose the plan once
Premium for two pets covers both trackers, the AI vet and two certified vet chats a month, for less than two Tracker Plans on the plan page today.

Mount each on its own collar
Thread each flat collar through the two silicone back straps, screen facing out, to one side of the throat; two fingers under the collar, and it should not swing when they shake. Cats: breakaway collar only.

One fence, two LED colours, then leave them alone
Draw the safe zone around home before the first night and turn on escape alerts for both. Set each tracker's LED to a different colour. Then leave them for a week so each activity baseline is that dog's normal, not the excitement of a new gadget.
Vet noteDr Duncan Houston, BVSc
A tracker tells you where each dog is. It does not stop them getting out, so fix the fence, the recall and the door routine as well, and in a two-dog home teach the sit at the gate to both, because the second dog follows the first through any gap. Activity, sleep and temperature data are context for a conversation with a vet, not a diagnosis; a quiet dog with a normal step count can still be sick, and the dog to watch in a two-dog house is usually the one that is not the problem. Use the sound and vibration cues to mark and reward behaviour you want, never to startle or punish, and send a cue to one tracker at a time; if training goes backwards, stop using them. Cats wear it only on a breakaway collar, from about 4 kg. Take the devices off for grooming, bathing with shampoo and whenever a clinic asks, and check the skin under each once a week. Nothing on the collar replaces the microchip; keep both, and keep both chip registrations current, because two dogs from one house are often found by two different people.

Why two, and the honest maths
Two dogs bolt together and come home separately.
The two-dog story I hear in emergency is the same one every time, about the day the gate was left open: the first dog found the gap and the second followed, and an hour later one was back on the porch and nobody knew where the other was. One tracker tells you about one dog.
- Two dots, one fenceTwo put both on the same map, with the same fence around the yard and an alert with the name of the dog that crossed it, and a health record for each, which matters most for the quiet one, because a dog that shares a house with a busier dog gets its off days missed.
- The screen on each collarThe Lost Pet ID on each screen works with any phone and no app, so the stranger who finds the second dog is talking to you before you have finished looking for the first.
- The honest linesThis kit costs what two trackers cost apart today, so it is one order and one plan, not a discount, and I would rather say that than let a number say otherwise.
- The planThe saving is in the plan: two trackers on two Tracker Plans cost more each month than the Premium plan for two pets, which covers both trackers and adds the vet chats, so run two trackers on Premium.
- Not a fenceCats wear it only on a breakaway collar and only from about 4 kg. And a tracker tells you where they are; it does not close the gate. Bridie and Kiko tested every version.

Do I save anything buying two together?
Not at today's prices. A Smart GPS & Health Tracker on its own, bought twice, costs what the kit costs. What the kit gives you is one order, two colours chosen in one place and the plan decision made once; the money is in the plan, where the Premium plan for two pets costs less than two Tracker Plans and covers both trackers.
Do I need two subscriptions?
You need two tracker subscriptions, one per tracker, for the live GPS, the fence, the health trends and the location history. On the plan page today that is either two Tracker Plans or the Premium plan for two pets, which includes both tracker subscriptions and adds unlimited AI vet chat and two certified vet chats a month. For two trackers, Premium is cheaper and does more. The pet profiles, the Lost Pet ID on each screen and the app itself are free.
Can I choose different colours?
Yes: two Black / Gold, two White / Gold, or one of each, at the same price. One of each is the pair for two dogs that look alike, because the collar tells them apart before the app does. The live store lists "Black then White" and "White then Black" as two separate options; they are the same two trackers.
Do both dogs show on one map?
Both trackers sit in one Ask A Vet account, on one map, each with its own route, and the virtual fence you draw around home applies to both; the escape alert names the dog that crossed it.
Will it suit a cat or a small dog?
Each tracker suits dogs and cats from about 4 kg on a flat collar; cats must wear it on a breakaway collar. Below 4 kg the device is too much collar for the animal, and the battery-free Smart ID Tag is the right thing. A one-dog, one-cat household with both over 4 kg is a fine use of the pair.
How long does the battery last, and is it waterproof?
Up to 30 days a charge on each, in practice two to four weeks depending on how often you ask for a live position, how much the LED runs and how strong the signal is; the app warns you before either runs flat, and they charge by USB-C. Each tracker is IP67 (one metre of water for 30 minutes; the live tab's "IPX67" is a typo, not a rating), so swimming, rain and the beach are fine. Rinse after salt water and dry the port before charging.
Does it replace the Smart ID Tag and the microchip?
The screen replaces the tag on the days it is charged, because it shows the same QR and NFC Lost Pet ID. It does not replace the microchip, which is the legal identifier and works with no battery at the vet or the pound; keep both chips registered to a phone that answers. The setup I recommend for each dog is tracker plus tag on the same collar, and the Two ID Tags Bundle is the pair of tags that goes with this kit.
What is in the box, and what if one arrives faulty?
Two trackers in the colours you chose, two silicone back straps for each, a one metre USB-C cable for each and a QR code inside each lid that takes you through setup in the Ask A Vet app. Collars are not included. Faulty or damaged on arrival: email hello@woopf.com as soon as you notice, with a photo, your order number and which of the two it is (the pairing QR inside each lid tells them apart), and it is covered. For anything else, the same address reaches the Ask A Vet hardware support team.
